Is the trail filled with a humble heart which celebrates his being?

When reminiscing about challenges of the past, am often reminded of the tiredness… yet also carry a fond realization of completeness. The path has been difficult yet satisfying. Time has been spent wisely on producing according to conscience—rather than pleasing a crowd or catering for social attention. Have been investing in greater treasures which pay higher dividends.

The Father promises his called-out ones that when we follow his commands we will be handsomely rewarded. There may be dire instances in the way yet we cannot give up hope. When we tithe our most precious time and self-filling opportunities for his sake, we help further establish his kingdom, granting him greater prominence (which he rightfully deserves). We offer a true, worthy sacrifice (ourselves) by choosing to serve towards his desires in the best manner possible. This is an act he greatly respects.

While we pray to the Father, know that he carefully inspects the blazed trail… diligently noting the choices made. Is the trail filled with a humble heart which celebrates his being? For the moments of weakness, it is best they are inspected now (do not wait until the latter judgment). We must also prevent pride from getting in the way of growth (ask for the Father’s assistance to overcome this trap).

My prayer is for his people to see this trail of trials… to help them make better decisions in their own lives. In doing so, the Father’s ways will be further promoted.

Life is precious and wanes quickly—let not your light be quenched!

His people, recognizing the grievousness of their ancestral sins, are seeking the Father with all of their being.

Dalet, the four letter of the Hebrew aleph bet, is the door flap which is lifted up to the humble. It represents the Father’s qodesh spirit reaching out to the ends of the Earth for His people.

We are witnessing this very spirit today. His people, recognizing the grievousness of their ancestral sins, are seeking the Father with all of their being. In response, the Father is crediting this great debt as was told in Luqas 7. The woman has been placing water and oil on His feet… washing His feet with the tears on her hair. The sins of His people, which are many, are being declared forgiven.

Many Pharisees/Perushim (pastors) today observe and interpret scripture yet, due to enclosed sin, cannot experience the Father’s blessings in full. Their closets need to be opened towards sin. The Father, in his mercy, has humbled His people, so we can open ourselves to Him—that we may experience His trust and peace. He, in response, will open His door for us.

Am reminded of Yeshayahu 64, in which our righteousness has been as filthy rags. “All of us fade like a leaf, and our wickedness, like the wind, has taken us away.” Although He has hidden His face from us for many seasons, He recently has unrestrained himself and said:

“Juice is still found in the cluster of grapes!”

Praise be to His openness.

Many vital establishments in our world, once thought to be stable, appear to be quite transitory.

The feast of Sukkot (Tabernacles) has recently commenced at our household. My father, in his usual way each year, has set up our temporary dwelling place on the backyard patio.

Have sensed a period of transition. Our house, for instance, is a temporary dwelling place—we purchased it eight years ago knowing we wouldn’t be here long-term. In fact, many “vital” establishments in our world, once thought to be stable, appear to be quite transitory. Those of you reading may also sense the plethora of changes occurring.

In the seven years of giving both Jedihood and Know the Script, have arrived at a state of peace knowing these messages are well-planted and continue to produce. The music has also matured, as well as attitude, health, and job responsibilities. Noticing the fruit filling the void once occupied by falling institutions.

As the Father leads this soul to new dwellings, see a new day bring brought before us—a time of revival and refreshment. Will we be open to receive it?

Be blessed this Fall season.

My hope in this pursuit is to see the Father’s children safe from the storms.

Have presented many messages over the years. Although vital, most have often been ignored by those desperately needing to hear them.

Even still, it is good for these messages to be provided as they have—for when it comes time to learn they will be readily available. A hardworking, patient servant must continue to build the ark until it is ready to conquer the upcoming floods.

My hope in this pursuit is to see the Father’s children safe from the storms. He has commanded his chosen ones to stand in the gap for weaker vessels, visiting and comforting the poor during times of duress and uncertainty. Such a responsibility is not always rewarding—yet we do what we are told. Such an order is not to taken lightly.

Yes, it has been hard pressing forward—yet it is worth it.

Leaving the familiar for the unfamiliar came with a cost—and oftentimes the benefits were are not clearly visible.

Shortly after returning from a round trip of five-thousand miles, a greater appreciation of home was discovered. Particular amenities, once thought to be expendable, are now seen with less discrimination and more affection. Further reflection has also been given to more stable, repetitive activities.

Have pondered about Abraham who left his country for an inherited land… as well as former ancestors who made the difficult (yet necessary) decision to bring their family to a newly-formed nation. Leaving the familiar for the unfamiliar came with a cost—and oftentimes the benefits were are not clearly visible. What trust it took to be taken away from their native place!

Is this person ready to make such a choice? Every so often a generation will enact it—although is this the right one? Perhaps.

Some of you reading this might be in a similar dilemma. Before any conclusion is made, ask the Father of what he desires. For some, he might ask to move… for others, he might ask to stay. It is much more important to be led by his guidance than our own.

Regardless of what happens, am thankful the Father has provided an understanding of what crossing over really means—that’s why Abraham is called the “Hebrew”.

While a handful sincerely desires to follow the King of Kings, external pressures prevent His reign from progressing from their hands.

To lower one’s self to a humble state is easy to announce yet hard to perform. After asking the Father for greater understanding some years ago, was given a heavy dose. It was quite difficult to digest.

Such absorption has taught this person how selfishness and anxiety towards particular authorities can greatly control our responses. Many become prey to pompous personalities, boisterous voices, and social brandings. By allowing carnivalesque behavior to overwhelm the enforcement of truth, a vast crowd promotes a fear towards men instead of the Father.

While a handful sincerely desires to follow the King of Kings, external pressures prevent His reign from progressing from their hands. Further light would manifest if His ways became their prime objective.

Hopefully this realization will be learned… especially at this particular time of Shavuot. Although this should be a time of joyous celebration, this person doesn’t see much barley.

It’s rather difficult to present such words, yet is necessarily to provide.

In order to return to The Promise Land, we must mend our walking.

Have just moved into a new living space. With repositioning comes new experiences and possibilities not seen beforehand. Although taking weeks to grasp the thought, eventually, as personal will subsided, was opened to the transition.

The difficulty in following the Father’s lead has been daunting—yet if this soul is to be brought to its rightful place it must learn to let go. A dislocated leg, if not fitted back into place, will promote a permanent damage in its walk. A dislocated world we have inherited—in order to return to The Promise Land, we must mend our walking.

Abraham was a wanderer although eventually found his promised inheritance. Without his trust in the Father nothing would have been granted! In fact, most today would consider his commitment insane—who would be willing to sacrifice their prized son for the Father?

Yet… if the Father himself did not sacrifice his own begotten, would we have been given the ability for atonement?

Trust requires an awe-determined strength to press forward. This is not the strength of muscle or mind, yet of higher motive. Let us pray daily for the Father to provide such.

As a confused vessel upon a series of interchanges, we cannot trust in our own course.

Am reminded of an often-recognized verse in Proverbs. “Trust in Yah with all your soul—do not lean to your own understanding. In all your ways recognize Him and he shall direct your paths.”

Afterwards it says to “not be wise in your own eyes—revere Yah and depart from evil.”

All three statements rhyme in thought. To obey the Father requires trust, recognition, and reverence towards Him. As a confused vessel upon a series of interchanges, we cannot trust in our own course. No matter how clever or intellectual we appear such reasoning eventually strays us into trouble.

Our existence here on earth, however sturdy, is based on a finite moment. Not one person living today has been around since the beginning of time! In contrast, the Father has existed from the beginning. In the book of Isaiah (Yeshayahu) He says His “counsel shall stand,” “declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things which are not yet done.”

Not only has the Father been around longer than us, His ways have also proven themselves over time. When keeping His law and commandments we are gifted “length of days, long life, and peace.” This is why in Proverbs He oftentimes pleads us to remember this.

“Let not mercy and truth forsake you—bind them around your neck and write them upon the table of your soul.”

A simple message yet also an important one. We must not fasten ourselves to our own driven rationality. Why spend energy devising roadmaps without the Father? He can travel much better than we can.

By acknowledging the Father and submitting our will for His own… we are assured a healthy, steadfast directive.

Wisdom, to be reputable, requires firm enactment.

When praying to the Father of what message to give at this time, was taken to the beginning of 1st Kings in scripture. David, who is about to sleep alongside his fathers after a 40-year reign, asks Solomon (Shalomah) to enact his wisdom by completing the following tasks:

Be strong and be shown as a man (similar statement to Job upon the Father’s visitation)

Follow what was written in Psalms 119 (guard the Father’s ways, statutes, commandments, judgments, and testimonies as written in the Torah)

Punish Joab (a successful, yet rash commander who shed blood at a time in peace)

Reward Barzillai’s sons (a generous man who showed loyalty at a time of insurrection)

Punish Shimei (an opportunist who cursed David at a time of distress)

It was not difficult for Solomon to understand his father’s requests given what is shared in 1st and 2nd Samuel—the difficultly lied in the strategic performance required to accomplish these requests. Steadfastness was especially needed for the punishments!

Wisdom, to be reputable, requires firm enactment. Many of the Father’s servants know the wrongs being committed by evil doers… yet how many have the unwavering strength to respond? Notice in Solomon’s case he was asked to follow the Father’s ways (Psalms 119). Obedience requires action in deed—not lip service.

This instance, among countless others, should help us further discern what scripture is about—and although generations have passed in time there is still unfinished business to settle.

Let us ask the Father to strengthen our resolve!

Making a scene is not necessarily the role of a chosen person—it is to establish The Father’s ways when deemed appropriate.

Taking a step back can be difficult yet necessary at times. The constant quest for attention, however gratifying, does not serve The Father’s requirements.

Servants in scripture took a back seat when needed—be it Elijah (Eliyahu), Jeremiah (Yirmiyahu), or John the Baptist (Yohanan the Immerser). Situations did arise when they were placed in the forefront, yet oftentimes the role was well-reversed. Many were ignored and scorned when such responses were publicly allowed.

It should also be noted the current admiration of such forefathers—this does not equate with what was displayed during their lifetimes. Many were appreciated only when the wisdom shared was understood later on.

It is also easier to promote these called-out ones when they are not around to criticize!

Making a scene is not necessarily the role of a chosen person—it is to establish The Father’s ways when deemed appropriate. Those who flaunt their activity of His commandments often forget this. Instead of focusing on the attention spans of others, it is wholesome to walk according to the direction The Father sees fit—regardless of where the spotlight goes.

Let not our actions be misunderstood. It is The Father’s time to shine!
