The following is Part 2 of a two-part music album project called 20/20. The 20/20 albums give witness to visual expressions prominent to the year 2020, clarifying a moment of discord and inspection. Although metaphorical, the experience is quite practical given the stimulated events taking place as it was formed.

A special technique was used for each piece. In general, each was programed for live play, recorded at the moment and later polished for release. This was done to express a direct response. Both albums are split into six-parts (representing a separation of man), each with two segments of three pieces. Each segment within the album lasts about twenty minutes and runs a total of about forty minutes, giving further connection with the album’s title.

While listening, keep in mind pieces are meant to feel somewhat uncomfortable and lengthy in order to further depict the very moments they imply. This was also done to express the unique tension of the time period. It may not be enjoyable at times, although is quite telling.

All music on this album is composed and played by Yahunatan (Jonathan Raimer). Precedence was composed alongside suggestions by Joseph Hoff. Keyboards and programming by Yahunatan. Composed in 2020.
