March 29th, 2016 — The Message Begins

The Jedihood message began during the Spring of 2016. It was brought about by a series of E-mail conversations between Yahunatan (formally known as Relan Volkum) and Aharon (also known as Streen). Out of the conversations, a video message was given by Yahunatan on March 29th that year. It was later edited and posted by Aharon some days later.

The 22-minute video, which would eventually become the introduction to the Jedihood video series, acts as a stern warning message.  It highlights signs to events which would eventually come to pass.

Just prior to the recording, a report was shared of certain community members saying things were all right and good. In response, the video predicts what would happen to Star Wars, certain Jedi-based communities, and the social structure at large. It spoke of a dark period of time that was to soon take place.  Note the recording was given a half year prior to the 2016 presidency whereas The Force Awakens had already been released some months prior.  The name Jedihood was known at the time of recording yet wasn't shared in the video in order to learn of the initial response.

Upon the video's release, it was quickly scorned and shunned.  Many ignored it while others passionately fought its conclusion.  Due to the haughtiness shown, along with the vital importance of giving the message,  the video eventually became part of a four-volume video series.

The communal response continued about a half year until the election in November 2016.   By December 2017, after the release of The Last Jedi,  the criticism transformed into something else entirely.  Many groups went through a series of missteps by 2019.  By March 2020, with the virus situation, it became clear the message given four years prior was accurate.

Back in 2016, if the warning was heeded, it could have helped many avoid certain traps.  To this day, the Jedihood message has not been formally presented to groups given the 2016 response.
