As stated when Jedihood began (early 2016), Star Wars would falter on an epic level. This, though, was easy to note while stalling the watch of the first sequel film.

A minority voice at the time, yes, yet the signs where already there. It was just not popular until it became so. Warned people not to bite on what was to come (which, by second film, many did). This ended the momentum of many groups. Eventually, the overall interest stalled.

Many doubled down in an act to not look foolish. It has not gone well.

Although there have been plenty of videos on the subject (especially after the "awakening" of 2018), this one pretty much summarizes the downward trend. A shame.
