The Kingdom Within
Very much love particular films filmed from 1977-1984, as they hold much stronger spiritual themes as compared to other time periods. Was blessed to be raised during this time and to experience certain events in this part of history.
One of my favorites is Chariots of Fire from 1981. It holds mature, spiritual themes and help to define a soundness of the time period that we desperately need today. Vangelis' electronic score (Evangelist in Greek) helps to lift the performances. Can very much relate to both Eric Liddell and Harold Abrahams as depicted in this film, as they remind me of my own personal challenges of faith and determination.
Was about five to six years old when first seeing this scene at a friend's old television set in the late evening. It very much effected me upon hearing it. Will go ahead and play the scene.
